The Top 3

The top 3 in GT150, a nice way to restart the season.

Congratulations to our three drivers Mark Dicken, Ursula Jordan, and Matt Mitter who had mixed fortunes at the first competitive outing of 2020 at Snetterton yesterday.
A broken hub saw Mark Dicken miss race one as he made a dash into the local town to find a spare and get his car ready for race two later in the day.
Debutant Ursula Jordan had a bit of a baptism of fire in her first ever race and her (previously) pristine car has some battle scars for her to boast about now.
Value Rater‘s Matt Mitter fought his way through the pack and went on to take a well deserved GT150 class victory.
Meanwhile back in the paddock Mark Dicken and Misty Racing worked feverishly to get his car back into one piece and he started race two right at the back of the (wet) grid. Once the lights went out he cut through the rest of the cars like a hot knife through butter and finished with the class victory and an incredible 10th place overall.
Matt Mitter was going strong at the start of the second race but a tussle with an errant MR2 saw him drop back a little. However, by end of the race he had got himself back into contention and added a second place class trophy (16th overall) to his cabinet.
Ursula Jordan breathed a sigh of relief as she took the chequered flag and finished her first race weekend, relatively unscathed and with some tales to tell.

We’ll all be back at Snetterton at the end of August for a ‘pure’ Coupe Cup race…
